ESP-WROOM-02 is the famous WiFi module from Espressif System, the company that produce ESP8266 WiFi chip. This the SMD version with FCC/CE/TELEC certification.
This module is a highly integrated WiFi 802.11 b/g/n module that consumes extremely low power while providing a wireless internet connection for embedded devices. ESP-WROOM-02 is a 32-bit low power micro-controller (MCU) that integrates with TCP/IP network stacks; the included 10-bit ACD interfaces with HSPI, SDIO, UART, PWM, I2C and I2S. Programs and firmware can be stored in the integrated SPI flash with 16Mbits (2MB) capacity.
